Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is Argentine with Scottish-English descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one in each parent's prior marriages. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated into Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and she did not learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16, she quit school and pursued a career as an actress full-time. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dream came true after she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
