Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in the city of Decatur on 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. Her age was just teen when she made her debut in the music world winning local competitions as early as 10 years old and recording her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. She was then invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. Her first album as a collective with this band was released in 1989.
