Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the greatest athletes. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone's love for gymnastics first began when she was just six years old after a visit with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's coaching until 2011. Biles took home a gold medal for the floor and bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite gymnastics in the year 2011. In less than two years, she dominated the sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of effort during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- made her out from the rest of the athletes.
