Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American actress, singer also a writer, director and actor. Her most well-known role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she has directed, produced and performed in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Additionally, she was Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born January 8 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Her younger sister is Danielle Benson, who is an artist. Benson was raised in the Reform synagogue in the name of her Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Since Buffy ended Benson was in films like The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. Behind the camera Benson utilized her creative talents to develop The Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones.
