Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. Most well-known is for her role as a character in House which airs on Fox. As a child of very strict Jewish background, Lisa Edelstein was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of Arts. She was soon involved in the club scene, creating enough controversy to draw the interest of the media. Then she used her experience and fame to write and compose the musical Positive Me and also starred in the film. Her first gig was on MTV as host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After it was taken off air, she began appearing in television and film productions at first in small roles but then gradually becoming an actress.
