
Allison Brooks Janney was born November 19, 1959. 2. She is an American actor. Her performances on screen and the stage have been an integral part of her career , which has spanned three decades. Janney has been awarded numerous awards like the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award along with the Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated to win Two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston, and raised on the streets of Dayton (Ohio). She got a grant to education at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art following her graduation from Kenyon College.
